The paper helped the participants to learn more about the advancement of women in technologies in CEE, and to bring announce the results from the Gender and ICT research made in 2005 in Bulgaria. "Being on of the few CEE women who participated in this conference, my participation has definitely made an impact to the ones who were interested in the changes produced in the region, as well as partnering with local organizations from Eastern Europe," said Christina.

This conference helped to make a link from local activities and struggles to the global Gender and ICT movement and to gain better representation of the CEE region into it. It has brought many new ideas for projects and initiatives on both local and international levels. At last, this conference provided a chance to make valuable partnerships for the future and to open women’s horizons and think how they can work with organizations from other parts of the world by providing an added value to each other.
