Christina has been active in the NGO sector in Bulgaria since 1998 participating in a number of projects: creation of information system for cadaster in Bulgaria; development of a Bulgarian electronic network for environmental NGOs; and a Lex.bg network for Bulgarian lawyers and legal NGOs. She participated in the European Civil Society Internet Rights Project, providing Internet Rights reports about Bulgaria, Macedonia, Croatia and other countries from the Balkans region.
Christina is deeply involved in the ICT and Free Software sectors in Bulgaria. She is a Free Software Bulgaria Association member and a former Board member. Christina is founder and a Board member of the Gender Education, Research and Technologies Foundation, which was created in order to develop a "Gender and ICT" programme in Bulgaria.
Christina has a BA in International Economic Relations; she speaks Bulgarian, English, Spanish, Russian and French, and has good knowledge of Project and Organisational Management.
