skipChristina and Mathieu proposed their experience and their organisation Internet Rights Bulgaria to set up the electronic list of this new EWG and administrate it as webmasters or moderators.
skipThe portal itself is a zone aiming to provoke and establish informal discussions on topics, related to the disabled people in Bulgaria, and a meeting place for co-operation and contacts. It is for now mainly supported into Bulgarian language.
skipThe Social Rights Network aims to raise the awareness of Bulgarian NGOs, social movements and individuals about their rights, to provide them with a forum to claim their rights and participate in campaigns and common projects.
skipFrom the 19th to 23rd of April 2004, Internet Rights Bulgaria, in partnership with Virtual Activism, hosted an online workshop about the “Use of Free Software in a non-governmental context”.
skipThe Womens’ Information Technologies Transfer, with the assistance and participation of activists from Internet Rights Bulgaria Foundation, organized their Training Exchange Event in Sofia, Bulgaria. The initiative took part from January 31st to Feburuary 3rd, among 16 women from 9 countries - Serbia and Montenegro, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Croatia, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, France and Bulgaria.
