Bulgarian Partners |
|
IRBF works in a close partnership with GERT since its establishment in the end of 2003. We are developing a Gender and ICT strategy for Bulgaria together, as well as we work in organising training courses for women in ICT. GERT are part of our NGO-BG Project for creation of a mini-website. |
Zaedno - Communication for Support and Development Foundation is a Bulgarian youth not-for-profit organisation, registered in 2005. It works for facilitating the networking and for encouraging the partnerships amongst the civic organisations, the institutions and the youth teams in Bulgaria and abroad through the Internet. |
IRBF actively supports and works closely with The Free Software Association - Bulgaria (FSA). We create together free and open source software solutions, easily accessible for social NGOs in Bulgaria. IRBF was part of the Iniciative Committee for organising the World Day of the Free Software OpenFest in September 2003. |
Radio France International Bulgaria (RFI Bulgaria) sends regularly news and information regarding follow-up events related to the social sector and protection of human rights in Bulgaria and abroad. Our partnership is a result of a training for journalists that a member of IRBF has leaded within the ABBRO project titled: Media FOR Human Rights and offers important and objective news for Social Rights Network readers’ interaction. |
We are working with the Association of Bulgarian Broadcasters (ABBRO) in their Media for Human Rights project. IRB has been helping with the training of media workers on how to reach NGOs in their region more effectively to be able to publicise human rights issues and present the work they are doing. |
IRB partnered with Sofia University to provide an intern programme for two Dutch students studying Information Sciences & Management at Saxion Hogeschole, Deventer in the Netherlands. The students worked with IRB researching the needs for information and Internet access of Bulgarian social NGOs. |
The Bulgarian NGO Resource Center (NGORC) has been very supportative of our perspective of building a Bulgarian social NGO network. They have themselves been trying to tackle the problems of isolation that many Bulgarian NGOs feel and their recently compiled Catalogue of Bulgarian NGOs was an important step foward in familiarising Bulgarian NGOs with each other’s work and enabling them to begin working together. IRB would like to thank NGORC for the support and encouragement they have given us in carrying forward our project and particularly for publicising our work in their Bulletin. |
