During 14-16 June 2007 in Warsaw, Poland, a working conference on the project EU kids online took place. The three–years research project attempts to compare the cultural, contextual and risk issues of children’s safe use of the internet and new communication technologies. The Warsaw conference gathered researchers from among 18 different European states, among which the Bulgarian partners IRBF and GERT who classified current findings, defined problematic areas and adopted further guidelines to the finalization of the study. The annual TRIALOG Central Training took place on March 26-27, 2007 in Tallinn, Estonia. The main focus of the training for new EU member states (NMS) platforms was on "Management and Strategic Planning for National Development Aid Platforms" (continue)

From 9 to 11 of October 2006, a Development Education Partnership Fair was held in Vienna. 184 representatives of 158 NGOs from 22 European countries came with their project and partnership proposals in order to meet and exchange their experience. The Bulgarian participants were 11, among which one from IRBF. (continue)

The Know-How Conference 2006 took place from 21 to 25 of August 2006 in Mexico City, Mexico. Over 500 women from all over the world, came to discuss the position of women in the information society, to exchange knowledge and experience. (continue)

The meeting was organised by the Polish platform for ODA, called Zagranica Group. Participants from Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland met to share experience and search for opportunities to work together in the future. (continue)

The first meeting of the European Social Platform with representatives of the Bulgarian civil sociey sector was held on the 2 June in Sofia. Over 50 participated on behalf of the local NGOs, among which the Internet Rights Bulgaria Foundation. (continue)

IRBF presented the Garment Industry in Bulgaria at the capacity-building seminar, announcing latest figures and the situation of workers in the textile and shoe factories, situated all around Bulgaria. (continue)

The fourth European Social Forum took place in Athens, between 4th and 7th of May. It was a meeting place for social movements, NGOs, associations and citizens, struggling for social justice, for protection of human rights, and standing against poverty, war and dictatorship, against discrimination and rascism in all its forms.
